My name is Marta Sznajder and I am a philosopher and historian of 20th-century inductive logic. I am a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow at the Institute Vienna Circle (University of Vienna). My project is called: “What was and what could have been: Janina Hosiasson-Lindenbaum’s role in the philosophy of probablity.”
The project studies on the life and work of Janina Hosiasson-Lindenbaum, a philosopher of induction. If you are interested in her, or what it was like to be a woman in philosophy in 1920s Warsaw, come over to the Janina Project. If you have found any mentions of Hosiasson in archival sources, please let me know.
